GENEALOGY QUERIES
ECHO Molise maintains a genealogy database to help fill in your family tree. We'll make:
Database Look Ups. We'll search 20,000+ passenger manifests and vital records spanning 250 years to find your ancestors.
Discreet Matches. We'll communicate our "finds" with you privately and directly, so you don't have to put personal information on the Internet in perpetuity, or on message boards that can go stale and unseen.
Private Connections with Other Researchers. We'll look for matches between you and other researchers, but will always ask both permission before sending out private contact information.
FAMILY SEARCH ASSISTANCEOf course, we won't always find a match in the existing database. For those times we offer:
Research "Angels." We can help you get started, offer suggestions when you get stuck and connect you with volunteer or paid researchers who will look up vital records for you.
Translations & Transcriptions. We'll help translate standard vital records and offer a
second look at hard-to-decipher handwriting.
Paid Researchers. We can also connect you with paid researchers, some with access to records unavailable in your area, who can compile your family history for you. We try to find affordable researchers who live close to the records, so you don't have to pay their travel expenses as well.
