Hello! I am researching my ancestry; my grandfather emigrated from Bonefro in the early 1900s. I am curious why the villagers are living in wooden houses out of the village. Did something happen? I would like to visit Bonefro one day; your pictures are so inviting! Beth

I am astounded and pleased to see this story coming out of my father's hometown. Our visit in 2008 was really otherworldly- especially meeting all the cousins found for us by Donna. A time to remember....a time to hold on to. God bless your efforts. Lou M- Sacramento

Hello everybody, to anwer the question of Bill: volunteers are always welcome, but of course, they have to be organised. At the moment, there is no organitation for this kind of help. Many people still live in the wooden houses out of the village. The "recostruction" is still far to be into an intense phase. Greetings, Luigi.
